About the Maker- Hispanitas

The story of Hispanitas began with a simple idea. In 1989, as the Chico de Guzmán family prepared to launch a new footwear brand, founder Francisco Chico de Guzmán suggested giving their shoes a name that proudly celebrated their Spanish heritage. At a time when ballerina shoes were commonly known as francesitas, he proposed, "Let's call them Hispanitas."

Built on a family shoemaking tradition dating back to 1925, the brand continues to create beautifully crafted footwear that combines contemporary European style with exceptional comfort. It's this blend of heritage, craftsmanship and effortless wearability that made Hispanitas a natural addition to the ESTELA collection.
