Founder's Fit Notes

It was the flowers that drew me to this one. I loved that they were sculpted from leather rather than added as decoration, giving the shoe this beautiful sense of craftsmanship and movement. Despite all that detail, she doesn’t feel fussy. I’d wear her with everything from a simple linen dress to something more polished for an occasion.

Since 1956, family-owned Joni has been handcrafting women's footwear in Elda, Spain, one of the country's most celebrated shoemaking regions. Today, the second generation continues that tradition, with every pair passing through more than 90 skilled hands before it's complete. How to Measure


Fit Image
  1. Stand with your heel flat against a wall, on a flat surface. 
  2. Mark the floor at the tip of your longest toe (this isn't always the big toe).
  3. Measure from the wall to the mark, in centimeters.
  4. Measure both feet and use the larger measurement.
  5. Measure at the end of the day, when your feet are at their widest.
