Founder's Fit Notes

Candela is an absolute dream to wear. For me, this is what a beautiful court shoe should be — elegant and sexy, but incredibly stable underfoot.

The sculpted heel feels wonderfully firm to walk in, while the rubber sole gives you that extra grip and confidence in your stride. There’s no feeling of having to compromise comfort or stability just to wear a beautiful heel.

I also love how versatile she is. She looks just as right with tailoring for the office as she does with denim for lunch or dressed up for dinner. She’s one of those shoes I can see myself reaching for constantly.

Fit: True to size and best suited to a narrow-to-medium foot. If you are between sizes, I recommend going up to the next full size. I wouldn’t recommend Candela for a wider foot, as the pointed silhouette is intentionally quite refined through the forefoot.

How to Measure


Fit Image
  1. Stand with your heel flat against a wall, on a flat surface. 
  2. Mark the floor at the tip of your longest toe (this isn't always the big toe).
  3. Measure from the wall to the mark, in centimeters.
  4. Measure both feet and use the larger measurement.
  5. Measure at the end of the day, when your feet are at their widest.

Pointed styles taper through the toe, so the shoe will feel more closely fitted at the front than a round or almond toe. The length is the same - we'd only suggest sizing up if you're already between sizes.
