Estela's New Season: A Wider Range, Fresh From Spain

We started Estela with a very small, tightly-edited range.
Small on purpose, not by accident. Every one of those first pairs had to earn its place the way I'd been trained to judge a stone — under a loupe, on close inspection, no room for a piece that only looked good in a photograph. I would rather launch small and be right than launch big and apologise later.
That bar hasn't moved. What's changed is how much now clears it.
This season, the range has grown — meaningfully wider in colour, silhouette and occasion, and with more depth behind the styles you already know. It's the first time Estela has felt less like a tightly-edited capsule and more like an actual wardrobe.
Why now
A small brand doesn't get to widen the range by accident. It happens because the earliest styles did their job — because enough of you bought a pair, wore it, came back, and told a friend — and because that gave us the room to go back to Spain and bring home more.
More didn't mean different. It meant deeper. We went back to the same ateliers whose construction and finishing we already trusted, and we asked for the parts of their ranges we'd had to leave behind the first time around — the colour we couldn't fit in, the silhouette that didn't quite make the cut, the style that needed a wider range to make sense next to everything else.
The result is a considerably wider collection from the same corner of Spain — Alicante's Vinalopó valley and the ateliers around it — built to the same standard, in a much wider range of colour, heel height and occasion than we've ever carried before.
What's actually new
The hero of the new season is a soft navy patent leather that shifts between pewter and warm bronze in the light, alongside a run of pieces we're genuinely proud to be adding: more everyday flats and loafers for the days that call for comfort over statement, a wider spread of heel heights so a shoe doesn't have to be either flat or four inches, and — for the first time — Zinda, a Spanish house known for sculptural heels and bold colour, joining Hispanitas and Joni in the collection. We'll tell you more about Zinda properly in its own post, but it's the clearest sign yet of where this range is heading: broader, bolder, still entirely Spanish-made.
Same comfort-first fit we've always cared about. Just a lot more of it.
What stays the same
Everything that made those earliest styles worth stocking is still true of everything we're adding now:
Made in Spain, in the same handful of ateliers around Alicante and Elche that have been doing this for generations. Leather that holds up to a close look, not just a glance. Construction detail — a removable inner sole, a properly finished edge, a heel that's built rather than glued — that you notice on day one and appreciate a year in. And run sizes small, the way genuine Spanish production runs always are, which means a style you love this season may not be here next season. That's not a sales line. It's just how small-batch European manufacturing works.
Who this is for
The same customer we've always had in mind: someone who wants shoes that are properly made, doesn't need the label shouting about it, and would rather own four pairs she'll wear for years than ten she'll replace by spring. A wider range isn't an attempt to be everything to everyone. It's an attempt to give that same customer more of exactly what she was already coming back for.

Where are the new styles made? Every style in the new season range is made in Spain, sourced from the same ateliers in and around the Alicante province — including Elda and Elche — that have produced Estela's collection from the start.
Is anything changing about sizing or fit? No. The new styles follow the same true-to-size, comfort-first approach as the rest of the Estela range. As always, check the individual product page for style-specific fit notes.
Will these styles be restocked if they sell out? Not reliably. Spanish production runs are small by design, so once a size or style sells through, it may not be repeated this season.
Is this the full range, or will more be added later? This is just the start of the wider range. We'll keep adding new houses and new styles as we find ones that meet the same standard — Zinda is the newest example of that.
